Duration and commitment

Certificate IV in Business is 12 to 18 months in duration. You can finish the course in less than 18 months depending on your commitment to training.

Study mode

This is an online course with scheduled online sessions or face-to-face sessions. Individual appointments will be scheduled. You may be invited into our training facilities to complete training or assessments.

Entry requirements

You must be working with an employer that supports an active traineeship. Applications are through Skill Hire. You’ll need a Unique Student Identifier (USI). To set up your USI, visit www.usi.gov.au.

Learner resources

You will need access to a computer, internet, Microsoft Office or similar, e.g. Google docs.

All other learning resources will be supplied by Skill Hire during the program.

The Student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as resource fees and other fees.

Study pathways

You can further your studies with BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Recommended course structure

There are 5 modules with 12 units – 6 core units and 6 elective units to be completed. A new unit will begin when the previous unit is completed. Unit delivery, training and assessment will differ for each person.
