Duration and commitment

The course is delivered 4 days per week (all classroom-based), Tuesday-Friday over a 10 week period. Catch-up sessions are available for additional assessment support.

Class Information

Duration: 10 weeks face-to-face training (4 days per week).

Forrestfield Training Location – Unit 3/271 Berkshire Road, Forrestfield

• Training start time: 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Training days: Monday – Thursday

Joondalup Training Location – 8 Elcar Lane, Joondalup

• Transport: Students are responsible for their own transport to our Joondalup training facility. Situated 545m from Joondalup train station
• Training days: Monday – Thursday
• Training start time: 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Term dates:
  • Term 2 2026: 20th April – 25th June
  • Term 3 2026: 20th July – 24th Sept
  • Term 4 2026: 12th Oct – 17th Dec

Bunbury – 24 Clifford Street, Bunbury WA 6230

• Training days: Monday – Thursday
• Training start time: 8:30am to 3:30 pm

• Term dates:
  • Term 2 2026: 20th April – 25th June
  • Term 3 2026: 20th July – 24th Sept
  • Term 4 2026: 12th Oct – 17th Dec

Study mode

All training and assessment is conducted face to face.

The course is run at three locations: Forrestfield, Joondalup and Bunbury.

Entry requirements

For all students undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia, it is mandatory to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). To set up your USI, visit the Australian Government website www.usi.gov.au.

• If you are:
  • Aged between 15 – 24 years old AND
  • Unemployed and seeking to participate in the workforce and experience barriers to accessing mainstream training and need greater support in training AND
  • Have a written referral from a Participation Referral Agent

Learner resources

All learning resources and materials required for training will be supplied by Skill Hire for use during the program.

 A device may be provided for use by Skill Hire however use of a personal device is encouraged.

Course fees

The course fee is between $65-70*.

The Student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as resource fees and other fees.

*students must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident, students must not still be attending secondary school.

After completing 22691VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults, you might consider several upskilling courses from Skill Hire or NextGen Skills, also part of the IntoWork Group. 

Completing this course will give you opportunity to enrol in a trade-related Pre-Apprenticeship.
