G189 and G2 Supervisor Course
This training provides the learner with the skills and knowledge required for individuals working in the Resource Sector who are required to undertake the role and perform the duties of a mine supervisor. The G1, G8, G9 & G2 competencies allow a person to have authority to supervise workers on a mine site.
The four units of competency are required for a Mine Site Safety Supervisor.
Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will obtain a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
Unit of competencies included:
- RIIRIS301E – Apply Risk Management Processes (G1)
- RIIWHS301E – Conduct safety and Health Investigations (G8)
- RIICOM301E – Communicate Information (G9)
- RIIRIS402E – Carry out the risk management process (G2)
