Infrastructure Ready Program

Duration and commitment

Three (3) weeks of training, followed by one (1) week of work experience.

Entry requirements

All potential participants are interviewed by Skill Hire prior to being accepted into the program. Set intake periods and maximum class numbers apply to this course.

To be eligible for free training, you must have left school, have your primary place of residence in Western Australia, and are either:

• An Australian citizen; or
• A permanent visa holder
• Unemployed; or
• Under-employed (less than 20 hours per week)

Learner resources

All learning resources, materials and laptops required for training will be supplied by Skill Hire for use during the program.

Participants will be required to wear their own steel toe capped boots and bring with them their lunch and a drink.

High-visibility vests, safety glasses and hard hats will be provided by Skill Hire for the duration of training.

Participants may need to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work placement as required by the employer.

No course fees apply for eligible students.*
