Course Overview
This program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to begin your career in the construction industry and transition into an apprenticeship.
52893WA Certificate II Building and Construction (Pathway – Trades) offers two pathways – carpentry and joinery, or bricklaying / blocklaying. You will have the opportunity to learn the basic skills needed to get started in your trade of choice and then choose your preferred specialisation.
This course is hands-on, covering the key skills needed by employers in the construction industry. By week four, participants can select their pathway and Skill Hire, as a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO), is then uniquely placed to help find a host employer for real life work placement experience.
