Skill Hire are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our clients workshops located in Malaga and Spearwood.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity after 3 months of employment.

You will be required to work a 38 hour week from Monday to Friday, and have the option to work overtime & Saturdays. There are Day & Night shift options, with flexible hours available.


Skills & Responsibilities
  • Experience in fixed plant manufacturing equipment - workshop based.
  • Experience in producing machines and equipment by assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
  • Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner;

Job Requirements
  • Mechanical Fitting Trade Certificate
  • Machining Experience
  • Knowledge of machine shop practices
  • HRWL - FL, EWP, CSE, Basic RG and DG


We require a strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
